There are quite a lot of weird and unusual trees and plants that have been born as a result of evolution over millions of years. The kauri tree in New Zealand for instance, is weird to look at as it has thick trunks and very thin branches. The quiver tree in Namibia is yet another wonderful marvel of nature, which looks more like a giant colored flower.
Halfmens in South Africa are yet another impressive species of trees which more like the trunk of an elephant. These weird species of trees tend to have other names as well due to their unique physical characteristics.
