Botany does not sound feminist at all. In fact, Botany does not have anything to do with feminism at all. Botany is a branch of science which deals with the study of plants and the way they interact with the nature. Feminism on the other hand is a social movement that advocates for equal rights for women, in comparison to the rights and privileges that men enjoy in the society.
Hence, both of these are different areas altogether and cannot really be compared to each other. Hence, Botany simply sounds like ‘Botany’ which is a prestigious branch of science and nothing more.
