Overall men seem to be hired for technology jobs more than women. Although some of the biggest technology companies right now have hired their ceo to be a woman. However most of these type of jobs go to men. I think that and colleges and universities more men have majors and technology than women because women prefer the jobs that interact more with people on a daily basis.
Men seem to want a job more in business in order to deal with facts and figures. Therefore when people enter the workforce and they start applying for jobs there are probably very few resumes that are from women and a boss has only one job to give to someone and maybe men stand out better than women.
