Yes, I think IMAX laser projection will be the future of movies in the cinema. IMAX films are bigger and better quality than traditional movie theater systems.
Even though IMAX movie tickets are more expensive than other movie tickets at this point, I think the price of IMAX tickets will become more and more comparable in the future. IMAX technology is more on par with what is happening in the rest of the tech industry as well. Some movies that were originally created in non-IMAX format are even being converted to IMAX in order to be played in a bigger and better way for the audience.
