Why is black on black crime not protested as much by African Americans?

I don’t think there is much difference between black on black crime vs white on white crime. Statistics show crime victims usually know their attackers and the numbers are surprisingly close by comparison. African American communities do have many local community and neighborhood programs to help stop violence, and reduce crime.

Their efforts are just not talked about as much as white efforts. I don’t really know why but it could be because white people tend to protest more on a national level and make the national news. African Americans tend to work in their local communities and therefore don’t make the national news.
