My list of the top 5 greatest NBA players of all time would include Magic Earvin Johnson, Michael Jordon (MJ), Shaquille O’Neal, LeBron James and Kevin Durant. I know Magic, MJ and Shaq are old players, but I am old too. I used to watch a lot more basketball back in the day. Magic got his name because he was, simply, magic to watch.

He inspired the term “triple-double” because he was so talented. Larry Byrd of the Boston Celtics once called Michael Jordon “God disguised” after MJ scored 63 points in a playoff game against the Celtics. I could cite statistics upon statistics but there isn’t enough room here to do so and it really wouldn’t matter. The reason I like them is mostly just my own personal opinion.
