How can the aluminium have 14 protons if the atomic number is 13??? i thought that the atomic number was equal to the amount of protons and electrons, can someone help me pleaseeeeee

It needs to be changed to say "If Aluminum has an atomic number of 13 and has 14 neutrons what is the mass?"
