Currently, there are a few countries that have absolutely no military for their country. This may be okay if the country is at peace with everyone especially the surrounding countries. However, at any time a country can be struck or attacked and they would need a military already put together and skilled to fight back. In today’s time, a military would most likely be needed in case of attacks.
When a country attacks another country, they defend themselves by force with equipment and weaponry. It also takes time to train a military and build a military to what it needs to be in these modern times. In history, militaries were definitely needed due to so many groups of people attacking and trying taking the land away from other countries.
