Galileo was not murdered by the Roman Catholic Church, although history has it that the Roman Catholic Church didn't accept his astronomical findings because they did not support the biblical beliefs of the Romans. For instance, Galileo, in his findings, also supported the Copernican theory. The Roman Catholic Church was not comfortable with the position of Galileo on the Copernican theory, so they had to summon him.

According to history, Galileo was also a Catholic and was able to tell the Roman Catholic Church that his findings didn't challenge or contradict the biblical beliefs of the church. The Roman Catholic Church didn't believe the Copernican theory because it stated that the planets orbit the sun.

On the other hand, the church believed it should be the other way round. Galileo was told never to support the Copernican theory and was later convicted of heresy. However, he died on January 8, 1642, after he suffered from heart palpitations and fever.

The correct answer to this question is No. Though he was not murdered by the Catholic Church, he was tried by them. Before this occurred, Galileo Galilei was known for his work in many fields, including math, astronomy, philosophy, and physics. With his work, Galileo Galilei made many contributions to the field of science through his inventions and his discoveries.

However, his scientific contributions were not backed by the Catholic Church. They felt his discoveries did not match with the beliefs of the church. Due to this, the church tried him and ultimately found him guilty of the crime of heresy. The guilty verdict made him sentenced to pricing until he died in 1642

The correct answer to this question is No. The Romans did not have him killed. Instead, he died from heart palpitations and a fever . His death occurred on January 8, 1642 and he died in Arcetri. Though the Romans did not have him killed, Galileo Galilei did face criticism for his ideas.

He was ultimately punished by the Catholic Church for his ideas. At the time of his arrest, he was 70 years old. They found him guilty of publishing the many ideas and theories that he did, but because of his age, he was sentenced to just house arrest.

There are some reports that are stating that Galileo Galilei, who is considered to be the father of modern science, has been murdered. He had a lot of ideas that he wanted to promote to the public that was unaccepted by the church at that time.

Take note that this was the time when science and faith do not seem to mix well. There were a bunch of people who were saying that the earth is flat because if you looked at the horizon, it would seem flat. Galileo insisted that the earth was round. According to reports, he was murdered because he was actively promoting some theories that people did not agree with.

It was in the year 1616 when Galileo was told that he was a heretic. This means that people thought that he was against the teachings and the beliefs of the Catholic Church. At that time, this type of crime is considered to be punishable by death.

On judgment day, Galileo was cleared of the accusations that were hurled against him but he was also told that his beliefs should not be spread out to the rest of the world. It was Galileo who said that the Earth is potentially moving around the sun which explains night and day. At that time, it was thought to oppose the things that were being told in the Bible which is why he was accused in the first place.

One of the problems faced by Galileo was his persecution by the Roman Catholic Church. Galileo Galilei was an Italian mathematician, philosopher, astronomer, and physicist who contributed immensely to science as a whole, due to his enormous scientific discoveries and inventions.

During this period, he was persecuted by the Roman Catholic Church because his scientific discoveries didn't go with the beliefs of the Church. History has it that Galileo was also a devoted Catholic, but the Catholic didn't see him as one because of his scientific discoveries.

As a result, he was tried by the Roman Catholic Church, and they found him guilty of heresy, then he was sentenced to indefinite imprisonment till his death in 1642. The controversy that led to the arrest of Galileo was his argument that the Earth revolves around the sun, while the Church believed otherwise. Galileo said the sun is the center of the world, while the Church argued that it was the Earth.
