Anaerobic occurs without oxygen but only creates 2 ATP, because of the lack of oxygen. But, aerobic respiration occurs WITH oxygen and creates 36 ATP. So, the correct choice would be the second option.

How can it be 4? Anaerobic respiration does indeed require Oxygen however it is an inconsistent process that can produce 2-36 ATP. 2 seems a more logical approach because Aerobic respiration occurs with Oxygen and it is guaranteed to make at least 36 if not 38 ATP the most.
If we are going with what is most correct 2-36 ATP with answer 4 compared to 36-38 ATP with answer 2. It seems like answer 2 is most likely to happen because 2-36 ATP is a lot of room for error whilst 36-38 ATP is next to none.
