There are a lot of people who do not like to get HIV, so they are very conscious of the things that they do to prevent themselves from getting this virus. HIV can be exchanged through the exchange of bodily fluids, which also includes saliva, but for the HIV to become transferred through kissing, it would need gallons of saliva all at the same time. The virus can be transferred easily through blood transfusion and by having unprotected sex.

The only time when kissing can make HIV transfer immediately is if the HIV-infected person has some open sores in the mouth. If they have any sort of mouth wound, the blood that will be transferred to another person can make HIV become transferred more.

HIV causes AIDS and AIDS is an autoimmune deficiency syndrome. There are specific ways to get HIV. First, if bodily fluids are transmitted from someone who is infected with HIV or AIDS and transmits it to someone else. There are key ways that this happens through blood, semen, vaginal secretions and breast milk. The main ways to transmit the fluid is through sexual behaviors, using needles through drugs, tattooing needles, blood transfusions, and breastfeeding.

Sometimes, childbirth can cause the baby to get HIV if the mother has HIV. Also, if an organ is transplanted that contains HIV and goes into someone else’s body, that person may now have HIV. HIV is not transmitted through hugging, sharing a straw in a drink, kissing or insect bites.
