A computer scientist is someone who has obtained the knowledge of computer science and the study of theoretical foundations of information and their usage. Computer scientists typically work on the theoretical side of computer systems. The computer scientist graduates with a degree in computer science are prepared for a wide variety of computer-related careers, such as software engineer, programmer, systems analyst, systems network administrator, web developer, and database administrator.

Computer scientists work on designers, researchers, and managers using their technical expertise and creative perceptions to develop- technologies that influence the future to help scientists unlock the secrets of the universe and build state-of-the-art products to assist in everyday life.

A computer scientist is someone who has secured the knowledge of computer science, through the study of the academic foundations of information and computation and their application. Computer scientists typically work on the theoretical side of computer systems, as opposed to the hardware side on which computer engineers mainly focus on.

Computer scientists can also center their work and research on specific areas, such as data structure, design, software engineering, information theory, database theory, and programming language theory. The primary goal of computer scientists is to develop and validate models, often mathematical in nature, to estimate the properties of computer-based systems with an objective of discovering designs that allow improved performance.

A computer scientist have a variety of tasks that they could do. This all depends upon the company that hires them and what they need to be done. However, computer scientists do have some things in common. Almost all of the computer scientists use computers and manipulate or correct computer systems. Other specific tasks that only certain computer scientists do are researching and designing.

Some computer scientists may research various softwares to use. They may look at what employees are needing to use in order to do their jobs. Then they would install and train the other employees on how to use the various software programs. Other areas that are involved in a computer scientist’s job may be information theories, numerical analysis and using programming languages.
