Defining what is right and wrong for an individual or a community. Morals go hand in hand with morality, for they are the guidelines that we must live by. Depending on the person, morals can be either be objective or subjective.

If they are objective, it means it is a universal thought. An example would be the word of God in Christianity. Christians all follow the word of the Bible as their morals. On the other hand, morals can be subjective to the person. For example, some think a white lie isn't that bad, while others disagree and see it is a sin.
