What type of culture did the student have at land?
A student is asked by the professor to sub-culture a bacterial organism onto fresh media for future studies. However during sub-culturing the students locks the test tube preventing oxygen flow into the media. After days the culture dyes.

The correct answer to this question is C, Obligate aerobe. A Facultative anaerobe is a microorganism. Being that they can metabolize energy aerobically or anaerobically, they can grow with or without oxygen. Therefore, a student preventing oxygen flow into the tube wouldn't affect it because it can improve without it.

Oxygen is harmful to Strict anaerobes, so the oxygen is kept out is suitable for these organisms. That leaves Obligate aerobe. This organism requires energy to grow. A student closing the tube would kill the body, which is why Obligate aerobe is the correct answer.
