I'm confused about the answer. The description says 12, but it says this is incorrect

Shouldn't the correct answer be 12 weeks? If not, can someone please explain why it is 6 weeks.

6 weeks

Employees are allowed 12 weeks for each 12-month period to bond with a newborn or with a child placed with an employee for adoption or foster care.
