Xylem is the plant tissue that carries water; it is one of the transport systems present in a plant. Xylem transports water and soluble minerals from roots to other parts of the plant. It is also responsible for replacing water lost during transpiration and photosynthesis
Stomata are pores found in the epidermis of leaves and stems that facilitate gas exchange.

Chlorophyll is a green pigment found in plants and algae. It plays a vital role of absorbing energy in photosynthesis.

Phloem is the second transport system in a plant. It helps transport food (sugars and amino acids) made by photosynthetic areas to other areas and also to storage structures such as the root, bulbs or tubers.
