During The World Cup held in 1983, Stuart Binny procured 18 wickets that occurred in eight games. This score was the highest in the tournament back then. The 1983 Cricket World Cup was the third edition of the Cricket World Cup competition. It was held from the 9th to 25th of June 1983 in England and Wales, and India had the victory win. Eight countries participated in the event.

It was an intense game all through the tournament. Teams like India and Zimbabwe scored wins over the West Indies and Australia. England, Pakistan, India, and West Indies became eligible for the semi-finals. The preliminary matches competed in two groups of four teams each, and all the different countries played the others in its group twice.

A lot of people are interested in the wicket and how it should be played. This is one of the games that people have known for a long time. In the year 1993, Anil Kumble was able to pick up 13 wickets. He is known to be the highest wicket−taker in the series.

This happened in Sri Lanka and those who have always loved wicket will still remember this. Take note that picking up wickets is different from the number of runs or wickets that are available.

The person who has made the most runs is Aravinda de Silva. The second person who was able to pick up wickets is Pramodya Wickramasinghe who was able to pick up 6 wickets.

The correct answer is Kapil Dev Nikhanj.

He was born in Chandigarh 6th of January 1959. He was the highest wicket-taker; he was also a fast bowler and hard-hitting order batsman. He is known for his great skills; he was named Wisden as the Indian cricketer of the year2002.

He is also regarded as one of the greatest Indian cricket captains; he captained the Indian cricket team that won the world cup in 1983. During his retirement, he had the highest record for the greatest number of wickets in test cricket; he was also India’s highest wicket-taker both in major forms of cricket, Tests, and ODIS. He was later made coach of Indian cricket between October 1999 and August 2000.

Roger Binny was an integral part of the 80’s cricket triumph, which was at the Cricket World Cup in 1983.

• He was the first Anglo-India to play for India.

• There are similarities between cricket and baseball.

• Instead of a bat, cricket is played with a unique cricket bat, which is flat, and it has a round handle.

• To win the game, whoever earns the most points wins.

• Each person is appointed a role to play in the game.

• Binny was an all-rounder, right-hand batsman, and right-arm fast-medium bowler.

• Binny took eighteen wickets during the tournament.

• His son, Stuart Binny, is carrying on the family legacy by playing cricket for the Kamataka cricket team, and he also plays international cricket for the India National Cricket Team.

It is India’s Anil Kumble who was able to pick up 13 wickets during the 1993 Prudential World Cup. He was also the highest wicket−taker in the whole series. Take note that this happened in Sri Lanka. While Anil Kumble may be the highest wicket−taker in the series for that year, it should be remembered that he is not the highest wicket−taker of all time.

The person who has achieved the most runs Aravinda de Silva, who was able to do 266 runs. The person who has achieved the most wickets is Pramodya Wickramasinghe, who was able to achieve six wickets other than Anil Kumble.

The correct answer to this question is Kapil Dev. He was born on January 6, 1959. Dev was born in Chandigarh, Punjab. His debut happened in 1975, when he played for Haryana. During this debut he restricted Punjab to 63 runs. He also took a six-wicket haul.

This debut would be one of many impressive games for Dev, for he went on to play for Haryana for 17 years. During his long, impressive career, he never was run out. On the field, Dev is a hero to many for the way he played the game and off the field, he is also a hero for his time in the Indian Territorial Army
