There are a lot of people who feel that Americans hate Pakistanis but this is not always true. Some Americans do not even know where Pakistan is located. They usually assume that it is part of the Middle East when in fact, it is located near India. There are more Indians who hate Pakistanis because of their history.
There are actually no valid reasons why Americans should hate Pakistanis unless they have experienced something bad in the past. It is possible that they have a strong dislike for Pakistanis simply because they do not understand the culture of the country. People have the tendency to dislike something that they do not know much about.
The US is a representative democracy. The views of the people are taken into account by means of their votes for a particular party when there are elections, but the government makes the decisions. Switzerland is a country that does have direct democracy, its people holding more power than is possible in other countries. Direct democracy is also called pure democracy where there is direct participation of citizens in democratic decision making.
Indirect or representative democracy is based on the sovereignty of the people. In the US the higher house, the Senate, is composed of individuals recommended by the current President and the existing senators in the house vote him or her in or out. Normally senators would go along with the President's wishes. It is the Senate that makes the law in the US.
Many citizens are happy with their country's politics, in fact. They take the improvement in the US economy as their guide. They see president Trump as presenting a strong face to the world and downing opposition to 'weak' attitudes to immigration and climate change.
The more educated individuals find recent attempts to withdraw from world-wide responsibility for these matters quite repellant, as they do regarding the apparent support for those who treat women with disregard or worse. Further, the attack on Obamacare has caused anxiety about those with preconditions and the possibility that some will not be able to get insurance. This causes great insecurity.
Just because one person has come to power calling himself a Republican, relying on the baser aspects of his followers' personalities, it does not mean that Republicanism itself should be disbanded. What is most dangerous is a one-party state. If you have a democracy there must be two or more parties, and the discussion/debate between their ideas and ruling intentions should inform those with a vote about the viability of otherwise of that party's political plans.
It is worth looking at what is good in Republican thinking and considering the contribution of Republicans who have served their country well. This is as valuable as looking at what is abhorrent and needs to end. Is it Republicanism or one aspect of it, or one person highlighting the less ethical and humane aspects of Republican policies?
I think what makes America the most powerful nation in the whole world is that there is no other country that can match the various achievements of the United States in every aspect. Before we go into the various things that made America a powerful nation, we should know that America is also a very big country in terms of size and population. While other countries are seriously lagging behind in terms of development due to the high population, the level of development in American can be attributed to their huge population.
Economically, no other country can compete with America, not even China, its closest rival. America has a strong economy and the best economy in the whole world. Also, their military capacity is something that can't be compared with other nations. America is one of the top producers of war equipment, and their military formation is filled with intelligence, and that is why they are rated very high in the world. America also has a good relationship with almost every country in the world.
While the healthcare system of America remains one of the best in the world, however, there are some factors that are affecting how health care services are being dispensed in the United States. One of the major problems is the issue of private health insurance. This is a big problem in the United States. What this means is that patients are expected to pay for their medical bills without the assistance of the government.
Patients below 65 years of age are expected to foot their own bills, while the free healthcare system is only meant for those who are above 65 years of age. The implication here is that if you are not financially stable to take care of your medical bills, you are more likely to get less treatment. Another problem is racial and gender issues. It has been observed that black Americans are not being given quality treatment like their white counterparts. Another problem is the shortage of medical personnel.
The first thing you should be ready to do when visiting America is to make proper findings about most things that you are more likely to face. You shouldn't rely on what people tell or things you probably think you know about America; you simply need to do the research by yourself. Examples of things you need to know is the weather conditions of the various places that you are most likely to visit in America.
This is needed because it will help you to be cautious of some lifestyles. Another thing you should make research on is their healthcare system. Health care services in the United States are private based, and they are very expensive. If you don't have a very good health insurance, just try as much as possible not to get sick. And if you do, be ready to take care of your medical bills. Finally, you must be ready to adhere strictly to the law of the land.
The reason for this is highly political. It can be bad for the USA to just accept and accept all of the refugees from different parts of the world. They do accept a certain percentage and these people have gone through screening before getting accepted. There are some families that are not placed together in one country and would need to seek refuge elsewhere.
Take note that Americans have seen a lot of stories in the news about how helping other people may backfire on them. They do not want the time to come when they have taken much more than what they can handle. It may lead to the downfall of the nation.
The country is treating it like as if they are not responsible for the loss of about 1500 immigrant children. These children are supposedly given to sponsors that are closely related to them but lo and behold, they lost track. This means that they do not know anymore what is happening to the children. Take note that the US has a department that is supposedly in charge of the process of placing the immigrant children in the hands of the sponsors.
They are supposed to check and make sure that the children are in good hands. The department says that it is not their responsibility anymore what happens to the children after they go to the sponsors. What has happened to the children? They are still lost.
The right to keep and bear arms is protected under the second amendment of the United States Constitution. Our founding fathers had a healthy wariness of the government. They amended the constitution to ensure that private ownership of arms would always be legal. The gun laws in the United States regulate the manufacture, trade, possession, transfer, record keeping, transport, and destruction of firearms, ammunition, and firearms accessories.
Guns are legal to own in every country and authority in the world under the appropriate circumstances. Evidence has shown that laws against gun ownership do not disarm criminals, but only their potential victims. In most cases, Anti-gun laws make crime more prevalent. Each state has its laws regarding who is allowed to own a firearm. There are various states and federal laws permitting background check requirements. Also, the presence of more guns in the hands of good people has and will continue to reduce crime.
