Elbow and Knee are two important joints in the body. Elbow is the joint between the upper arm and the forearm. It is located in the upper part of the human body. Knee, on the other hand, is the joint or the region of the whole joint in the middle part of the leg between the shank and the thigh. These types of joints are very important because they allow our bodies to make a movement. If not because of the elbow, it will be practically impossible for us to take some things to other parts of our body.

Eating becomes very easy because the joint permits the forearm to move close to the mouth. If not because of the flexibility of the arm created by the elbow, it means we will need to depend on other people before we can touch our heads. The Knee contains more bones compared with an elbow. The Knee helps in supporting our weight so that we can perform activities such as running, dancing, etc.

Discrimination and Racism are two words that we can simply say have almost the same meaning, but when you truly study the two words, you will definitely see some little differences. Discrimination simply means the act of discerning, distinguishing between things. Discrimination means you are giving a particular set of people a preferential treatment, while you are giving another set of people a distinct treatment to their disadvantage.

Discrimination is a broad term which can be applied to so many areas of life. Discrimination usually comes with the notion that you are partial in your dealing with two parties; that is, you like a party and dislike the other. Racism, on the other hand, is a form of discrimination. At times it is called racial discrimination. Racism simply means the belief that one race is superior to another race. This is common in our environment today in which you see people of a particular race entirely being maltreated majorly because we consider being inferior to us. A perfect example of Racism can be seen between Black and white people.

Taking care of one’s skin can be a challenge, especially when you do not know any skincare routines. You can try your best to remove your makeup before you fall asleep at night. There are various makeup removers that are available now that are effective in removing makeup completely.

After removing your makeup, make sure to cleanse your face. Once a week, you may need to scrub your face to get rid of the dead skin cells that may be on the surface of your skin. Use a gentle toner to remove dirt from your skin before applying serum to make the skin softer. Using a moisturizer will lock in the moisture of the skin and make it look more supple.

I read somewhere some time ago on how the soap works on the skin; the soap is a hypertonic solution (higher concentration), more concentrated compared to our skin cells. During the process of washing, the cell is immersed in a hypertonic solution; as such, water diffuses out of the cells by process of osmosis due to the lower concentration present in the water outside the cell.

As a result of this process, the cell shrinks, and this process is called exosmosis. Overall, why our fingers shrink when we wash for a long time is due to the process of exosmosis that takes place in the skin cells. This process is totally harmless because as time progresses and your skin is exposed to external air or sunlight, the skin tends to retain its normal outlook, thus ending all processes of exosmosis.

Have you noticed that there is a bump on your face, but you cannot seem to pop it? Do remember that pimples are not supposed to be popped but some people do it anyway. Sebaceous cysts are hard to pop because they usually grow inwards. The pimple will grow outwards, which means that the pimple will start to show a white center after some time.

The normal cause of sebaceous cysts and pimples are dirt, oil, and bacteria. If the pore becomes infected, it may turn into a pimple. Some cysts can be found inside the body. Some of them are normal and will just go away over time. Some of them may develop and would need to be removed immediately.

Thrombohpheblitis is known to be a condition wherein there are different blood clots that form in the veins abnormally.
