Romeo And Juliet Questions and Answers (Q&A)

I believe that Romeo getting exiled is the climax and definitely not their deaths as that is the end of the book and is the conclusion/resolution, while Romeo getting banished is the turning point because it leads to their deaths, and changes everything

Paris is the man that Juliet was set to marry. There are some debates that are ongoing with regards to when Juliet was supposed to get married to Paris. In the beginning, the wedding was set to happen on Wednesday which is letter B. But it was decided that this was too soon so it was moved to Thursday which is letter C.

No matter what day the marriage would have occurred it might not be valid anyway because, at that time, Juliet was already married to Romeo. This means that the second marriage will only be considered null. Take note that Juliet did not want to follow her father so she was threatened that she will be disowned if she did not obey.

Romeo meant C. He intends to kill himself beside Juliet’s body. It should be remembered that Romeo did not know that Juliet is not truly dead. He was so in love with Juliet that he wanted to be with her even in death. When Juliet woke up hours later, he found Romeo’s dead body beside her. It was then the time when she decided that she wanted to join Romeo in death.

She also killed herself to be with her forever love. This is one tragic story that has been portrayed so many times in plays. From students who wished to show off their talents to actual actors who get paid for their portrayal, this is one story that people are usually familiar with.

Originally Juliet wasn't opposed to marrying Paris and told her mother that she would meet him at a party to see how she felt about him. At the party, Juliet meets Romeo and the two soon secretly marry. This secret marriage makes Juliet unable to legally marry Paris but at that point, she doesn't want to anyway.

Juliet was just shy of 14 at the time of her marriage to Romeo and he was probably around 15. This young age could be part of the reason for their hasty decision.

The answer to this is C. Benvolio. It was Benvolio who told Romeo that he needs to go to the party just to compare the other women to Rosaline whom Romeo loved. Benvolio’s goal is to show Romeo that the other women are so beautiful that Rosaline would pale in comparison. This was the time when Romeo did go and he saw Juliet for the first time.

It is safe to say that he forgot all about Rosaline after he saw Juliet who was just 13 years old at that time. Romeo and Juliet were both young when they met. This explains why their emotions are so strong and they made decisions without thinking too much of the consequences.
