Possibly. Ever since Kim Jong Un stepped into South Korea to meet Moon-Jae, things have changed. Historically speaking, there have been a lot of injustices between the two countries, making unification seem like a long shot.
Speaking for the current era, reunification is still a long way out but reconciliation is not. The refreshed efforts by both countries is a positive aspect in this long-running war. The diplomacy between the countries is now improving and a diplomatic unification is on the horizon. The U.N. sanctions on DPRK will be withdrawn and South Korea will help DPRK in rebuilding their crashing economy. The only fear is the potential betrayal that DPRK is famous for. If such a betrayal can be prevented then the peace will go a long way.
The Koreas cannot be reunified because the Un family wouldn’t give up their head spot so easily. We’ll have to look to the future to know what really happens. We should hope for the best.
Nuclear weapons are those that actually are from a nuclear reaction. Even though a nuclear bomb may seem minor compared to what people think of it, the result of this bomb exploding actually sends large amounts of nuclear energy and radiation into the air. The only time nuclear weapons were used was during World War II when the United States dropped two bombs.
One was dropped on Hiroshima and the other one was dropped on Nagasaki. Today, there are five countries that have nuclear weapons under the treaty. They are United States, Russia, United Kingdom, China and France. Others that have nuclear weapons but are not a part of the treaty include North Korea, Pakistan and India. It is hard to say whether nuclear weapons will be used again, but there is a great chance since several countries have them.
I know this terrible anomaly is difficult to understand but fields full of potentially nutritious food source is no help if the population is far in excess of the content of the fertile fields, or if costant civil war aborts all the country's wealth. This is what happens in African countries. However, in Mozambique the diet lacks an essential mineral an this results in malnutrition especially in growing women.
Many of these countries also have inefficient farming methods so the tempest isn't made of the produce. Further in, say, Madagascar, deforestation seriously affects poential productiveness of land. Finally, several African countries are prone to flooding and other natural disasters so that good crops may be greatly wasted in this way.
In June 2017, Great Britain decided to leave the European Union. The European Union includes about 28 countries or nations from Europe. They conduct political and economical business for Europe. Some of the things that they do include trade and movement of goods and served around the continent and world. The European Union began in 1951 and began with only six countries. The people or citizens within these countries are also included in the European Union, so it contains over 500 million people.
Many language and religions are included and make up the European Union. The European Union contributes and makes decisions for education and health care. Of course, these countries must represent and attend meetings as well as provide funding for it. Now, in June 2017, the citizens of Britain voted to leave the European Union. It seems that anger was involved in this decision.
Many people dream of being the president of their own country at some point in their life. Most of the time, people dream of being the president during their childhood. They admire the president and the power he has. When something goes wrong or the president makes a decision that does not agree with someone, they may think of things they would do differently.
However, there are certain issues that people want to resolve because these issues are dear to them and mean a lot to them. For me, I am a teacher and so I favor education. I monitor the educational decisions made by the president. If I was president of the United States, I would provide more education to those who struggle, plus hold students accountable.
It would be nice to see our country be even more progressive and have not only a woman win the presidential election, but a strong black woman. We have already seen Oprah's dedication to a cause. When Obama ran for president, she publicly endorsed him, which was the first time she put her influential stamp of approval on a candidate, and it came from such a pure place.
Oprah would be the perfect female candidate to follow in the footsteps of Obama. She didn't even think about it in terms of business or viewership. She just dove in head over feet, and she openly stood by her political beliefs. This type of dedication would be a refreshing departure from the climate of skepticism and approval seeking, which is so prevalent right now in politics. When Oprah made her speech at the Golden Globe Awards, she was flooded by social media support, and she received a well- deserved standing ovation.
There were actually seven other names on the Russian ballot during the 2018 Russian election even though everyone knew Putin would be elected for his second consecutive and fourth term as president. The three more important candidates were: Pavel Grudinin, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, and Ksenia Sobachak.
Grudinin argued he was a “model for how post-Soviet Russia should be run” because he successfully “privatized a state-run strawberry company and converted it into a profitable agricultural enterprise.” Zhirinovsky won 6% of the vote in Russia’s 2012 election but by 2018, he was 71 years old. Sobachak is a female journalist and former reality-TV star. Alexei Navalny, Putin’s most outspoken critic, was disqualified before the election.
ISIS stands for the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. It is known for its extreme methods. It has now committed terrorist threats to several countries. By sending a few men or women to certain countries, these people attack average citizens usually unexpectedly in order to kill as many people as they can. In 2003 the United States invaded Iraq which became known as Operation Iraqi Freedom.
The U.S. and Iraq spent several weeks in major combat. When Saddam Hussein gained power as the leader of Iraq, many Iraqi citizens suffered. Although whenever a country tries to stop a dictatorial government such as Iraq’s many groups may come together to punish the country. However, in 2017, ISIS/ISIL/Daesh have lost land to the United States and the Iraqi army in their recent campaign in Iraq and Syria.
For many months, there has been an investigation into whether Russia interfered with the American presidential election. Robert Mueller was appointed as the special counsel to determine whether Russia was interfering with the presidential election. When Donald Trump traveled with Russia with some members of his family, one of his sons met with Russian lawyers which raised eyebrows among the American citizens.
There is speculation and the gathering of facts to both support and show non-interference of Russia in our election. However, since the investigation is still ongoing, a definite answer can’t be detailed in the Russian interference. Russia has denied interference in the presidential election, but some people believe that they were and others believe that they were not.
Steve Bannon has said that the Trump-Russia probe was about money laundering. Money laundering is when someone gets money illegally and does not admit where the money came from. Steve Bannon was the White House Chief Strategist. He worked for the Trump administration for seven months and then he was let go from his position and then showed his opposition to the Trump administration and the Republican Party.
Recently, he and Breitbart wrote and published a book about Bannon’s experience during the Trump administration in January 2018. As far as whether the Trump-Russia probe was about money laundering is difficult to say at this point since the investigation is still ongoing and the facts about each side have not been made known explicitly and in full to the general public.
