The best way to apply styles and headings to a document is to select the text you'd like to be a header and click on the style of heading you'd like. This is located in the top righthand corner on the Home tab if using Microsoft Word.

MS word has revolutionized document handling. You can easily create and modify documents according to your needs. However, you need to save these documents in order to save their progress. In order to do so you need to click the Microsoft word icon which allows you to save the documents.
Once you to so you can reopen the file and continue your editing or progress from the last point that it was said. Clicking the insert button will only allow you to access the tab which puts in pics, videos and other multimedia into the file. It won’t help you save anything.
