The German airforce was called the Luftwaffe and its airmen were as brave as the British RAF and just as capable as dropping bombs to cause maximum damage and devastation to constructions and cities. The misery caused by those bombed, if they survived, lasted probably to the end of their lives, whereas the act of releasing the bomb took seconds.

The airmen of the Luftwaffe took pride in their dogfights with the British, but came off worse because their planes were not so manoevrable.

As is often the case in violent wars, there was a fault on both sides of this terrible event. Many died, but of the people listed in the question, the key figure is Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale, a militant who had been invited to take refuge in the holy Sikh temple. He then used the temple as a weapon armory. Indira Gandhi wanted to remove Sikh separatists from the Golden Temple in Amritsar and so ordered Operation Bluestar. Thus, Indian army troops with tanks and armored vehicles attacked, although inviting capitulation first.

The insurgents could have come out unharmed at that point. They left it far too long, and the attack went ahead with over 500 deaths reported, 83 of them from the Indian army. Operation Blue Star is considered a Political Disgrace, and Indira Gandhi was assassinated by her two Sikh guards. Her father, a king of peace - must have turned in his grave.

An hour has sixty minutes. If you watch the minutes hand for all that time you will see it travel right around the clock from the top around the right hand side to the bottom up the left hand side to the top again, and that takes sixty minutes. When the hand is at the bottom it has taken thirty minutes, and that is half an hour.

When the hand points to the right hand side that is quarter of an hour, and you will discover that 15 minutes is one quarter of an hour, because 60 divided by 4 = 15. Dividing by 4 is cutting something into quarters. A quarter of an hour = 15 minutes. Another essentially lengthy answer which would normally be given in two words.

The FFA stands for the Future Farmers Association and may well be entirely unknown outside of Wisconsin. However, the Creed was written by E.M. Tiffany during the third National FFA Convention in 1930. It was to inspire its new members and has become a rite of passage for them. Memorizing the Creed is one of the first things they have to do, and it has helped transform kids who were formerly shy and nervous into more fluent speakers and confident members.

Afterward, members can recite the Creed for the rest of their lives, even more reliably than the Lord's prayer, but not many know of its origin. The Creed was twice revised, but the original of 1930 was adopted by majority vote. The belief was to get members to focus on the benefits of agriculture, its rich history, and their future role and purpose in agriculture. The Creed has one memorable paragraph.
