Bronchitis is an inflammation of the lungs, at bronchitis. The ailment can be chronic or acute in nature. It appears when the large bronchi, small bronchi, and the trachea are affected with any form of infection. Flu, on the other hand, can also be referred to as influenza. This disease is caused by a virus called influenza from which it gets its name. The two types of influenza we have are influenza A and influenza B. The infection of bronchitis lasts for some days, while that of influenza stays for weeks.

There are many factors that can cause bronchitis inflammation. It can be caused by the influenza virus, by inhaling allergic people inhaling dust or fumes, infection of the upper respiratory tract, and it can be caused by some bacteria such as mycoplasma pneumonia, elderly people can be affected by it, and it can be caused by smoking too. Flu is caused through the transfer of it from an infected organism; it can be transferred through sneezing, coughing, sex, and touch sometimes.

Viruses or a viral infection cause the stomach flu, and the primary difference between the stomach flu and the seasonal flu is the range in symptoms. The stomach flu is often characterized by vomiting, diarrhea, intense stomach pain, and cramping. People with the flu sometimes suffer from these symptoms, but it is rare. The same virus does not cause the two, and Influenza is seasonal. The symptoms of the cold and flu include nonproductive cough, congestion, body aches and pains, fever, exhaustion, or fatigue. Most people recover rather quickly from the flu, and if caught early, there are medicines your doctor can prescribe to shorten the course. People who are suffering from the flu are often encouraged to drink plenty of fluids and rest.

There are many different strands of flu that someone can contract. Usually, people will start feeling the symptoms first and then they will suspect that they have the flu. However, if you want to know which type of flu you have, you should go to the doctor. Then the doctor can determine which flu you have and a good amount of time that it will last. However, most common flus can last about a week and a half.

Although if you catch the first flu of the season, it will probably be the strongest case of the flu. If you got the flu after several others in your household have had it, then the flu will not be as strong and will most likely not last as long.
