EEPROM and Flash are two types of memory used by a lot of electronic devices. Flash cannot be separated from EEPROM because Flash is just a type of EEPROM. EEPROM is the short form of Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-only Memory. Flash is also a non-volatile memory chip which can be used for storing data and as well as transferring data from one electronic device like a phone, tablet, PC to another. EEPROM, on the other hand, is a memory device which can be used to write or erase digital data.

One of the major differences between Flash and EEPROM is that, while Flash uses NAND-type memory, EEPROM uses NOR-type memory. NAND means the combination of (Not and AND) type of memory, which is a bit slow, NOR means (NOT or OR) type of memory which is a bit faster when compared to NAND. Also, you can get a flash at a cheaper rate compared to EEPROM.
