One of these things that we can do is to conduct self-examinations. Usually, the first time someone learns that they have cancer can be through self-examinations because they can feel for lumps.

Women are pressed for conducting their own self-examination of their breasts. While in the shower, they can conduct this quick exam to determine if there are any lumps. Men can conduct monthly testicular self-examinations because testicular cancer is a highly curable type of cancer.
