Both Techs A and BBleeding on most vehicles with ABS is just like bleeding in non-ABS vehicles, but if air does become trapped in the module, a scan tool will be needed to open the valves and push the fluid through.

Neither Tech A nor BDuring open loop, the ECM / PCM does ignore the O2 sensors, but it uses preprogrammed values to run the engine. The MAP is an active value. To run well, it needs current readings.

Tech BYes, peeling the seal back slightly to inspect a wheel cylinder is correct, but no fluid should be seen. If found, it is bad and needs to be replaced.
