Device Configuration & Port Settings

This tutorial will help you tackle the A+ Certification of CompTIA. It addresses a basic but important objective of the Core Hardware part of the examination.


After you complete this tutorial, you will be able to identify typical IRQs, DMAs, and I/O addresses, and procedures for altering these settings when installing and configuring devices.Note: IRQs, DMAs, and I/O addressing are all necessary topics for any technician, however these subjects are no longer referenced in the A+ exam objectives (2008)
