\"Student\"In the last quarter of 2012, we had added the Try Again button,<\/strong><\/a> which allowed learners to retake quizzes.<\/p>\n

Since, then we have had educators suggesting for a functionality which allowed learners to go back to a particular question or\u00a0skip certain questions.<\/p>\n

Realizing the importance of Skip & Go Back\u00a0feature, we have\u00a0introduced\u00a0these functions in all ProProfs quizzes.<\/strong> Now, learners can skip a certain question and jump to the next one. This helps them to avoid wrong guesses, when negative marking \u00a0has been enabled for certain quizzes<\/a>. The Go Back feature allows learners to go back to a previous question and change\/review their answers.<\/p>\n

The image below shows how the Skip & Go Back feature appears to your learners:<\/p>\n

Follow the steps below to enable the Skip & Go back feature for a quiz.<\/p>\n

Step 1:<\/strong> Go to My Quizzes<\/p>\n

\"ProProfs<\/p>\n

Step 2:<\/strong> Click \u00a0on “Edit Settings” \u00a0to enable the Skip & Go Back feature for the quiz.<\/p>\n

\"Edit<\/p>\n

Step 3:<\/strong> Under “Presentation”, in General Settings, select “One question per page” and check the box which says “Allow navigation between questions”.<\/p>\n

\"Edit<\/p>\n

Note* In the above step – Do not check the box which says, “Allow review before final submission”<\/strong> or else learners will have to answer all questions, during the review, before finally submitting their answers.<\/p>\n

Step 4:<\/strong> Finally, click on “Save” and you’ve successfully enabled\u00a0\u00a0the Skip & Go Back feature for the quiz.<\/p>\n

Note* Skip & Go Back is an optional feature and you can remove this functionality from a quiz at any time.<\/strong> To remove this functionality, uncheck the box which says\u00a0“Allow navigation between questions”.<\/p>\n
