You can now specify whether your team receive notifications on a particular project or task, or just prevent clients from receiving email notifications.
So you might be getting fed up with receiving email notifications whenever a comment is posted on a task, or you might want only your team to receive email notifications about comments that are posted and not your clients.
You can now specify whether email notifications are sent out by clicking the Advanced Options buttons, then setting the preferences in the dropdown. You can do this at a project and a task level.
For example, you might not want to receive comments about a particular task, so you can switch off notifications for that task. However you might still want to receive notifications when you or your team are assigned to tasks, so you can leave notifications switched on at the project level.
This can be particularly useful for Project Templates, as you can specify exactly which tasks have email notifications sent and which ones don’t. Once you set this option in your template and save it, then all your projects created from this template will inherit these preferences.
