Quiz Maker Suggestions

Currently skip questions functionality not available in the quizzes. Once we have negative marking applicable to a quiz then the users might want to skip certain questions in the quiz/test so as to avoid unnecessary deduction of marks.

I think this is a very useful feature that is highly required for test takers and is available in most of testing solutions across.

I would like to request the feature of creating sub-folders in the organize sub-folders section on the Quiz maker homepage.

Lot of times this is required when there are lot of quizzes falling into various categories. Most of the testing tools support this feature.

I have a request to allow the functionality of using Allow "Save - Resume Quiz" and "Review quiz before final submission" features to be used simultaneously.

Currently the tool support once one feature to be used at a time. It will make more sense to allow these both features to be used at the same time.

A user might want to save and resume quiz and also want the functionality to review his answers for correction at the end of the test.

I think it would be beneficial if you could change the style of question without having to create a new question. For example if you started with a multiple choice question, but you decided you wanted it to be check box, you could change the format without selecting a new questions type

Dear proprofs

I still miss the feature to add pictures to the choice and math part of the matching questions type! It would be a really significant improvement for me and would enhance my work with proprofs. Is it a great job to implent this feature?

To be sure you understand my wish:
I would like to add pictures for A, B, C, ... on the choice side and text or pictures for A, B, C, ... on the match side. I know that it is possible to add the picture in the question part above. but that's not very useful.

I would like to request a feature in the Reports section. Once the user takes a test, he/she should also be able to see his/her percentile score when compared to other test takers.

This is one of the important feature in tests, that compares the overall performance of the student with the other test takers.

Currently reports does not include such a parameter.

Currently it looks like their is only Dollar currency supported as the Payment option. For example when I need to set the cost of taking a test, currently it only provides me the option to put the cost in $. But, my user base follows a different currency.

Does the system supports other currencies too. We need this feature very much for our user base.

Or if this feature is not there, do you have any plans for the same.

The current print feature on the administrative view of ProProfs allows us to print the test and distribute it to students who do not have access to a computer.  This is a great feature. 

It would be very helpful to also have a print feature that would allow us to see the correct answers.  This could be used as an answer key or for archival purposes.

It will be nice to have a tab that allows the student to FINISH the quiz at any time.

A cloze text is a passage with many words missing that the quiz-taker must fill in. While your quizzes allow one sentence "fill-the-blank" type questions, you seem to have no option for a longer body of text, in which several boxed blanks appear.  In this kind of quiz, the quiz-taker fills all of the squares in - there might be 20 blanks on one screen, all in the one continuous text. This is ideal for foreign language students and would really add variety to the quizzes I currently make. It would allow me to write quiz stories, rather than single sentence questions that are unconnected.
