Talk:ProProfs Guidelines For Conduct
From Proprofs
One rule that is included in some other forums' rules that I really like, but not sure if it's necessary for us:
Be clear. Please try to be clear in your posts, and refrain from using "text talk." Again, we're an international community and text talk may not translate well to those outside of your geographic area.
I know that it's been commented on in the forums as of late, and we've gotten some good response from other members on using "real" words instead of "text talk." It's only come up once that I can think of lately, but the response to the "please don't do that" reply by Spy was pretty positive. It's not all about texting, it's partially about clarity. I'm open to feedback on this one - if it's overkill, then we can leave it out.
Last question I've got:
Do we want to reorder the rules to prioritize them in any way? My obsessive tendencies tell me to put the rules in priority order, but I might be overthinking this. (I won't be offended if you folks tell me that I'm just letting my OCD get the better of me, I'll just go rearrange a drawer or closet or something to appease my need to organize!)
