Word Wanderer Instruction
Drag the tiles in the tray onto the board to spell words. You must use ALL the tiles in your tray.
Connect you word to at least one letter on the board. You can create more than one word with the letters.

Travel the road less taken by spelling your path to mystical castles and treasures in the sky. It’s Jack and the Beanstalk meets a crossword puzzle.

good game. Ifind it very soothing
Here's what Idon't like;
1. The game decides when and if it will accept the same word in consecutive games
2. no extra points are given for unusual words
3.I get the feeling although it is never said that points are deducted if you use you hints or stoptimme
Where's the game. It's all green. Put it back, I realy loved this game.
Thanks for putting the game, back in order. I thought I liked the old fashion game 'Scrabble', but this is better, because I don't have to wait to find someone, to play with.

I cherish and enjoy my quiet time in the evening reading or playing brain games. Some of the games that involve speed get me so hyper, I have defeated the purpose of relaxing to gain a restful sleep. Word Wanderer is an excellent late night game for relaxation and quiet pursuit of pleasure. Thank you...this is just the type of game I've been searching for relaxation. My two dogs are even curled up at my feet!
I've played this game so much that my laundry is piled, my kitchen sink is filled, and my fridge is empty!! Does anyone else desire a larger area, more letters, and capacity for longer words?

When they say 'old age ain't for sissies,' I find that to be true. I like to play this game because it makes me feel good about myself when I perform above average most of the time. Wow!
Yes, I would like to be able to use longer words although I enjoy considering speed before that humdinger of a word, like my husband does.

Sometimes a word is not recognized - I can accept that (I have a larger vocabulary) BUT what is wrong with pedestrian? It was not allowed.

I can't figure out how the scoring/points work. My highest score is 15,988 and I don't know how I did it. I can consistently achieve 9-11,000. Help!

Weird - somtimes just will not accept words - today's examples:
"lads" and "seer". What dictionary does this use?
is it the same words or can you get different words to start. i think it would be a bit boring after awhile.
Can they use another word and get rid of some of the graphics that cover the letters. otherwise its a good game
I use this game to challenge myself. Today was the highest score ever at 9710 with all tiles. It's important to hit all the double word markers and to connect as many words as possible. This will be a hard score for me to beat. . .prior to that my highest was 7894 -

Trying to beat my own score of 10458 but can't seem to get beyond that - may have to search for another challenging word game, although I still play this daily. . .crazy. . .

When Posit Science had this game on its own site, it worked better. Board was bigger. It accepted more words, and -ing or -er add-on suffixes (this one doesn't seem to). It also didn't freeze up after a "stop time" which this one seems to sometimes. Much better on the Posit site; too bad they took the games off.

The game doesn't accept words with suffixes, even when I make the word initially or add the base word to an already existing "ed" etc. Frustrating ...

The most I've ever scored is 18,000 + points after I figured out that this game likes you to intersect words within words, joining letters every which way. Since then, I haven't been able to beat my own score.
I like the game it keeps my brain occupied.

The Posit website seemed to be more consistent: this reincarnated game doesn't always accept the same word for two games in succession. Also, when the game times out, no further words can be added to the gameboard. What dictionary is in the Word Wanderer database?
good game, but it doesn't accept some words that I know exist like "grated" and uses my time up thinking of another.
