Internet Explorer 8 protects you from today's threats, including malware and phishing, as well as emerging threats that can compromise your computer without your knowledge.
The new SmartScreen Filter lets you browse and email more safely by helping to protect against deceptive and malicious websites which can compromise your data, privacy, and identity.

You can safely tell Spybot-S&D to not to include those detections from further scans. You can change the settings in the following manner:

Right click each in turn and then click Exclude this detection from further searches. In that way you will be able to change any other part of security settings. It is the same as antivirus software like MacAfee or Norton. If they are disables they will be announced by themselves.

Hi,

Windows Internet Explorer (formerly Microsoft Internet Explorer, commonly abbreviated IE or MSIE) is a series of graphical web browsers developed by Microsoft and included as part of the Microsoft Windows line of operating systems starting in 1995. It was first released as part of the add-on package Plus! for Windows 95 that year. Later versions were available as free downloads, or in service packs, and included in the OEM service releases of Windows 95 and later versions of Windows.

Hi,
Go for default settings, I think you will get access to the bank sites then. IE is good but I am using G-Chrome, it is faster and secure among all. I think, you have to try it, you will get nice results.
