The time has come, I am taking what seems to be the last exam for my MCSE 2003.
What seems to be even more exciting is the fact that I believe it will also give me the MCSA 2003: Security specialization!

I feel really confident for this exam, in fact I believe it will be a walk in the park since security is one of my strongest areas. The only thing that bothers me is the testing format. From what I have read it is in a Case Study format, and they give you a lot of useless details to read, while being timed.

I spoke to my Manager today and she gave me the green light to go ahead and schedule it for Friday. I just ordered the voucher online, so we'll see if it is possible to schedule it by then.

On a side note, CCNA seems closer to me now. I have purchased Chris Bryant's Ultimate CCNA study guide, and it is really good.

You will more of me in the CCNA forum soon!

I can only imagine how much of a relief it will be once you complete this certification track. Good luck!

In regards to the Security specialization, you'll still need to take one more exam (70-299, 70-227, or 70-350). The 70-298 meets the core requirement, and your Security+ meets one of the two elective exams for the Security specialization (which leaves one more exam).

It will be quite a relief, no kidding. It's been about 7 months or so since I took my first MCP exam, which was 70-270.

It's a long road, and only those who truly desire to earn the certification will get to the end of it.

As for the security specialization, you are correct. I have no idea why it even came to mind that I'd get the specialization in MCSA, without first completing 70-299.

Now that I think about it, I have stuck all the way through and I honestly do desire the Security specialization, so I will most likely go for it.

Looking forward to Friday, and to being able to add those four magical letters to my earned credentials.

Oh and by the way, Good Luck tomorrow cbrzana!

Hope you got certificate services down really well, for I believe 70-293 was about 45% PKI. As usual, let us know the outcome so we can all celebrate  smile.gif

Thanks guys, I appreciate all your wishes.

I forgot to add to my previous post it is now a fact, I am taking the exam on Friday at about 1:15pm.

I'd also like to write a short review for *EDIT*, because they are awesome.

I paid for my voucher at approximately 6:20pm EST, and got it 24 minutes later, at about 6:44pm EST. To me this means as lot, as the last time I bought a voucher I had to wait for like 3-4 days in order to get it.

These guys are serious when it comes to business, so to anyone out there looking for a voucher -- you might want to consider giving them a shot.

Enough of the review, now onto the real thing...It's great taking exams on Friday because I have the whole weekend to celebrate!
