Congratulations on passing the first part, I am in the process of studying for the exams, do you have any pointers or notes that you would like to share that can help me pass. I would hate to fail because these exams are not cheap. Any notes or suggestions you have will be greatly appreciated.

colmkilmartin ....  My uncle just took the second test a couple of weeks ago here is what he said:

Just FYI, the second test had a lot of questions regarding:
Identifying and fixing printer faults
A few commands: MSCONFIG, NTDETECT, and others
Know what SFC is.
What happens when you plug a USB 2.0 device into a legacy 1.1 port.
Boot error “NTLDR not found”, “Operating system not found”, etc.
Some of the differences between windows 7, Vista, and XP (like where the temp folders are and how to change where (change drives) documents are stored using Vista)
Know what a VPN is.
Indicators of malware, same with virus
How to best protect from phishing.
Which one account should be changed upon setting up a system for ‘best’ security practices.

Hope that helps
