I recently purchased an item labelled "HDMI Media Player USB/SD/MMC Flash Drive AVI HDTV 720P" When it arrived I was surprised to find that it had no HDMI media outlet socket, just the usual RCA type sockets. Perhaps the vendor feels that it plays HD through the RCA type connectors, but it is my view that calling a player an "HDMI" player means it must have an HDMI output. Am I correct? I would really appreciate a well informed opinion from someone who knows about these things before I resolve with the seller.
