What one do you want to go with? I suggest checking out the demand of work for those two certs and go that way, or you can go voice and security.

I'm pretty sure, like 95% sure that the site your friend got the material is a dump site, which is looked down by many people. So when cisco finds out about your friend using this site, they can take your friend to court and your friend can loose all of the certifications that they have by cisco, on top of that, your friend won't be able to test with cisco anymore. Also, since the different vendors are creating a database of people who cheated, your friend might not be able to test with any other vendors.

Knowing the material is way better than having the questions from the actual test.

Which also means that he probably DOESN'T know the material and now his cert means nothing.....

Employer will know if you are genuine or fake.  Although it is impossible to know everything.  In my 25 years in the electronic industry, having the skills and the ability to find the answers is the most important.

The worse part is that this person has the cert and can run around saying that they have it, taking jobs opportunities from people who actually know the material.
