hi proprofs forum congrats on the great job of informing us noobs to the IT certs.  Was browsing the sun microsystems certs on sun (JAVA programming related) and it turns out sun has bought out by Oracle.

Does anybody know how this buyout will influence these certs? are they good certs to pursue.....etc
furthermore whats Oracles stance with sun...

I am planing to write oracle 10g release 2 DBA certification. Can anyone tell the exact path for this certification and what material I need to follow for these Exams? At present I am working as a oracle technologies like discoverer and pl/sql programming. I am planning to shift my career to DBA .Till now I did not any attend any certification exams of oracle. Please, if any one help it is very thankful Thank-you.

Hi friends,I had completed my BE course so i think of learning Oracle certification in on-line. I do not know whether learning oracle in on-line is better than studying at institute and which would be the best choice. friends i need your advice.
