I'm doing an experimental build and I was trying to match CPU with Motherboards. So it is my understanding that Hyper Transport is AMD terminology and FSB is intel terminology. Here is a link to the two items:
CPU:

Motherboard:

Despite if you think the two aren't the greatest to match-up, are they compatible?
The CPU has a Hyper Transport of 4,000MHz and the Motherboard has a FSB 2600MHz Hyper Transport (5200 MT/s)
I'm really pondering if the CPU is already doubled, thus should be read at 2,000Mhz(FSB) and having the Motherboard at 2,600Mhz.
Any insight would be appreciated!
