I just graduated high school three years ago and go to NYU. I have been tutoring during weekends and summers all three years - so I have seen basically every book out there.
Use these two books and you will be set
1. The Real ACT Book - It has three actual past ACT Tests. Practice is key if you want to learn the test and also find the areas where you need more work. You can get this at any store, Amazon, etc.
2 The ACT Black Book - This book rocks for strategy and basic tips. It gives you a ton of helpful info in a pretty short read. Not as many practice problems as others, but has a few that illustrate all the tricks. I got this one at www.superiortestprep.com , not sure if its in stores.
