Hi all, need help with a licensing scenerio. The database set up is follows:
2 x 2008 Enterprise machines running SQL 2008 Standard (clustered) with a NAS solution. The NAS software is 2008 Storage Server Standard Edition with iSCSI.
What I'm confused is I'm running SQL on 2008 Enterprise machines in a 2 node cluster (single instance I think). So, do I need server licenses for the Enterprise machines & the SQL servers and how many?
Or basically what do I need to purchase? A little confusing.
Thanks Chris

IF I understood your question correctly, (two instances on two boxes one instance on each box?) you would need two SQL licenses.
