Hello there ,. i got a few questions as i just got a playstation 3 ,
my dad got me and my brother a ps3 both , and as i live in my own place , it's very annoying sharing game with my brother really annoying as he is younger and get's them back when he wants , so the big question is , if i rip our ps3 disks onto my computer and re burn them onto a blue ray disks with a blue ray burner would it work on my ps3 ???? ive been look for answer's all over the web and cant get a stright answer also if i change the file type to an iso file type burn the image with nero onto a blue ray disk ,
if this dont make anysence im sorry but im really not that clever with these consol .

any idear's would be most greatful .

The Play Station games is the best type of games. It is called as the PS games in short form. PS games has different types like PS1, PS2 and PS3 games. Some best Play Station games are Heavy Rain, God of War III and Street Fighter.

Thread necrotism, but since this question was never actually answered:

Yes, you can play burned games, but it's not allowed by the manufacturer.  Many of the common ways of allowing your system to play burned games includes physically getting into the system.  Doing this will generally end with your system being banned from Online play (at least with xbox).  I've also seen mentions of different "temporary" devices that allow you to play the system while not connected to the Network, and then removing this before logging on.  I haven't done this myself, nor do I own a PS3, so I can't confirm validity.

In short, don't do it unless you want to chance bricking your system.  It's considered to be a breach of the use agreement by Sony, and it's legally a grey area to "back up" your games.  Tell your brother to start buying his own games so you can borrow them and ransom 'em back when he doesn't return yours.

Those are all the best games to have on the PS3.

Why don't you just go to the pawn shops or goodwill.  They are usually cheap.

short answer dont do it
1) the old ps3 disk drives have been known to fail when reading home burnt disks
2) its a breach of the user agreement with sony
3) you will have you ps3 blocked from the playstation network

PSP games are in different type of formate some times it would be possible that you can convert it using your computer but most of the play stations games are write protected that's why it's not possible to make it pirated so sorry.

Play station 3 is the big and best platform for the latest good games, these are providing the great games to us. I love to play the all ps3 games very much, it is my favorite console. Retro city rampage, The elder scrolls V, Borderlands, Red dead redemption, Resident evil 6, Enemy unknown and Dark souls are my favorite ps3 games.
