i HAVE TO AGREE AS WELL JUST REPLACE THE UNIT IT IS EASIER AND THEY ARE PRETTY INEXPENSIVE ALSO.

You could at this time take into consideration any upgrades you might want to make for the future and get a bigger power supply. If you plan on adding more drives or a higher end video card this might be a consideration.

Most PSUs come with a 3 yr warranty. If its out of warranty i'd still take the risk of replacing fan, which is with the right screw driver.

Yes, replacing is cheaper and easier...
I would suggest using Newegg.com or Tigerdirect.com for a replacement.
