I am using both antivirus software on computers I set up and was wondering if any other users have used either of these and if you have any pro's or con's on them?

Hi,
Like AVG, also. Catches lots though not always an attempt to change default home page in some browsers. Others will do that though. Not familiar with the other, though I can also recommend Avast.
Keep a supply of Registry tools around as well, and make note of how the "invaders" identify themselves. I find the "junk" toolbars and screensavers to be the worst. Just try to clean off an "idiot's" machine with five toolbars cluttering the browser window and each wants to take on multiple Registry identities. Just be mindful of the tools you use, they will more than intended if not properly configured or used.
Peace,
Clarke

I cannot recommend AVG, as a computer technician I've seen clients bring in AVG machines with infections running circles around it.  While it often does detect infections, it does a very poor job of quarenteening and removing them.  Version 8 also bogs down slower machines to state that rivals Norton Antivirus.  I've never heard of Clamwin, NOD32 is the best AV I've seen.

I always hear people knock this and that product because they always say "I've seen people come all the time to me with this and that". Well, you can take any antivirus program and still get infected...Crap in, Crap out..

If they surf pr0n, download .exe's off Limewire, play stupid with torrents, and surf for cracks/keygens/serials
They will get infected 9 times out of 10

I don't really like any of those 2. I've tried alot of anti-virus programs.
Sort of my job lol. Anyways none of those 2 are good at what they do.
If I had to choose from those 2 alone I would go for AVG.
Clamwin is a very weak scanner.
Was originally a mail scanner if I remember correctly.
I use Avast works much better then Avg at least.
Best Av's I've seen are NOD and Kaspersky.

You should to  buy AVG Anti-Virus 9.0 is also available for free download. The product manufacturers have taken into account each person needs to have some here today from many of the Internet threat protection type. And i think it is more better than other one.
