I wrote to Red hat Support the other day asking if i were to take the RHCT exam and pass if i would need to re-take the RHCT section when i took my RHCE

Unfortunately the answer was yes, you need to take both parts at the same time to become a RHCE.

I do not really understand their logic, but here is their response to me...



Hi Nathan,

If you attend the RHCT exam and pass, you still will need to complete the RHCT requirements in the RHCE exam. Since your certification for RHCE is based on your knowledge of RHCT and RHCE components.
