I've been using New Horizons for a number of courses.  Just started the 70-228 training this weekend, and I could hardly tear myself away from it.  Absolutely great!

The chapters are concise, and the SQL server simulation is very good.

I hope the 70-229 is as good, that will make the price paid worth it.

Yes, I remember seeing several complaints about New Horizons, and most of them seemed to be regarding the schools.

I failed to mention in my original post that all my classes are online self-paced. I am not taking ANY online instructor-lead classes.

I have now started the 70-229 online course, and it is as good as I had hoped.  In addition, I'm studying for MCSA Server2003, and I think those courses are great also.

I'm very happy with New Horizons.  My employer paid for a year of courses thru August.... If I don't finish all the courses I want by then, I plan to ask them to pay for another year.  If my employer won't pay for it, I'll buy it myself.

NH also helped me tremendously with my A+ and Net+...(along with Mike Meyers and Proprofs!!!)

I also like NH because of the virtual labs... great stuff, you get to practice on clean installs of Server2003, etc., whatever.

NH technical library is a comparable value to a subscription to SAFARI online books, although I personally prefer hard copy.

The overall price tag is a little steep, but a self motivated person can make a good value out of it.
