Between the Wii, XBox 360, and the PS3, what is the best system out and why?



I think the Wii a good system but it needs more adult content games.   Does the control system scare away publishers?

I may be on the farthest limb by myself... but personally (besides the dang thing overheating) I think the 360 is the best system.

even with buying wii controllers it will not pass the ps3's price. not only is the system price high. but the games too.

the downfall to wii is that its mainly youth based. or party based, not covering the full age scale

i personally have a 360, and its been great to me =]

xbox probably has the most games, wii is fun because of the interaction, but i like the ps3 because it does more than just play games.  Its worth it for the blue ray player alone.

I think the Wii is the best system out there! Since I bought the Wii, I've been addicted & can hardly put it down. It incorporates the old classic games from the original Nintendo, Sega, Turbo graphix 16, & SNES, as well as, the more up-to-daye game. You feel like you are actually doing the actions in the games since your movements control the characters. Wii all the way!!!!!!

I think the Wii is in highest demand for sure.  Its practically sold out still in Canada after over a year.


However, I think the best system is still the PS3, especially now that blue ray is going to be the standard.  Yes the Wii sells more, but thats because its cheap and great for all ages.  They sell more Toyota Corollas than they do Porsche 911s, but that doesn't make it a better car

A friend of mine who never plays video games tried the wii and kep raving about it throughout dinner ... he played for 5 hours straight ..

The 360 is the best for consoles, unless you're a party person and have people over a lot, in which case get a Wii.

IMO ps3 is the best gaming console. The games and system may be a bit pricey but, you can play games for free online and the ability to have a dual boot with the ps3 operating system and a flavor of linux, plus blu-ray drive, which will be the standard. Additionally Blu-ray discs can hold 25gb compared to xbox 360 discs that can only hold around 9gb, the discs are also scratch resistant.

Id say the PC...    I used to shun PC gaming for consoles but now... console games just dont compare.

I would be a little more inclined to agree with you. But, I like 360 just a little more for their file sharing and incorporation into my home network. MS just made things easy for me...Although I hate the Media Center feature...

Id say the PC...    I used to shun PC gaming for consoles but now... console games just dont compare.

Firstly, the PC isnt even an option only consoles, so.............nevermind

Secondly, I think the Wii is the best, where else can you play on a Balance board or actually use a sword etc. Also you only need a remote and a nunchuck, their is no need to buy different controllers as stated somewhere above because there ARE no other controllers.
Even though the Xbox 360 and PS3 are good machines with good graphics etc, the gaming industry has stated that they cant go much  farther with graphics, so what then???
Its nice to see Nintendo being more innovative with gaming instead of churning out the same old structure like everyone else, a new perspective to gaming is very refreshing and give Sony and Microsoft something to think about.

Oh Yeah, and the price MY GOODNESS the price, cheap, cheap, cheap and in demand, nuff said
