Is FTP still being used today?...

Is it still widely used?  Are there any standards that have replaced FTP?

tftp is still very much around if you're working with Cisco equipment.  I use it every day.  I don't see it used anywhere else, though.  Us Cisco people are weird like that.   tongue.gif

Thanks you for the post.

Hi,
No doubt, it is still in use. I feel that SSH FTP is the most secure among all the other protocols.

The FTP mean File Transfer Protocol is still in use in today's world of Internet. The FTP is used to transfer the files or any documents from source to destination point. But at some points it doesn't provide a good and secure communication.
