im getting a Wii soon....hopefully

I personally do not have nither of those, but I have a friend who has both of them and he said that Wii is terrible.
He bought his Wii, played once and after that he wants to "throw it away".
He said graphics in Wii is terrible; moreover, you can take DS anywhere you want.
So I would prefer to buy a DS.

Had to reply to this, if he's played it 'once' how does he know. You cant read the first page of a book and say its rubbish. Playing one game on a console then saying the WHOLE CONSOLE is rubbish are the words of a spoilt child. Is your friend young?

They are 2 different type of games - like comparing apples and oranges.  We own both and the wii takes up more space but is more fun.

I think the DS is better than all the laptop to play, but the Wii is the motion, and so many accessories, like a tennis racket and bat in Wii Sports. DS has a touchscreen feature. I like the DS better.

According to me the Wii games are better than the DS games. It is easy to play any time and it's features are very nice than the DS games. I like the Wii games.

Both are admirable systems, but if you accept the money, get the Wii. I adulation arena Guitar Hero 3, Wii Sports/Play, and Super Mario Galaxy all on the aforementioned system all fun games.
